I could make some story stones to prompt the kids' memories as well as have the kids make stones to remind them of different stories/lessons. thanks again!Karennoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3443743422530475134.post-61054674747695068502013-03-18T19:14:58.666-04:002013-03-18T19:14:58.666-04:00@ K Hyman: Can you tell I love Ed Emberly?

I think it would be interesting for students to come up with their own to trade with classmates. Think of how many stories could be made :)Mrs. Chancehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00591660824973241489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3443743422530475134.post-71909935962510345162013-02-18T23:17:58.171-05:002013-02-18T23:17:58.171-05:00I just LOVE seeing what clever teachers come up wi...I just LOVE seeing what clever teachers come up with!! They were laminated strips of paper that said things like 'inside the jellybean factory' or 'the vegetables rock-n-roll band' or 'professor Fleegle and the mysterious science experiment' - you get the idea.

The kids liked them as I'm sure they will your story stones, with one problem. They seemed to rush through one so they could pick another, rather than really settling into the artwork. I had to set time rules so they didn't say 'I'm done!' Too quickly.

I hope you'll share the resulting artwork! By the way, where did you find such white stones, or did you prime them ?Phylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00482775924810462890noreply@blogger.com
