YES! I've done this at a workshop before and LOOOOOOVED it! the gelatin also keeps for days as long as you keep it in the fridge and then trash it at the end of the week! the positive/negative shapes are great :)
Ha Ha! I've done lots of gelatin prints and have never taken the gelatin out of the cookie sheet! I just trim 1/2 inch around the edge, pull out the 1/2 and then make my paper the size of the pan. If your edges get crumbly then you can just trim again. The great thing about the gelatin is that it gives, so texture really shows up, for example the veins in leaves! Love it!
